    The Polaris-box 36 SCM inlay has a capacity for up to 36 FMTS-30 splice traysand an easy (click-on) mountable adapterbracket for 18/36 patch connections (SC, LCD). The modular, as set available overlength brackets allow an easy storage of loose tube (loop) or drop cable overlengths.

    The robust and highly compressed Polaris-box 36 is multifunctional. The top side of the fiber inlay has two separate areas for splice and plug connections. On the left side up to 24 FMTS cassettes can be equipped with splice or splitter trays. A maximum of 288 splices can be realized with the 12-fiber 1TPU splice cassette when fully equipped. The right side is reserved for adapters/pigtail, drop and patch cable connections; up to 36 SC, E-2000™ or LC duplex means 72 connections can be realized. In order to cope with these fiber quantities, 6 breakout slots can be equipped with the new pre-slotted sealing elements in a customerspecific and modular way. Up to 12 cables or tubes up to 16 mm diameter or 144 subscriber or drop cables with 2 – 3 mm diameter can be inserted.

The Polaris 36 housing is the king solution from our Polaris series. As the name suggeststhe flexible termination enclosure for fiber optic connections has 36 slots for SC and E-2000 connectorsas well as 72 LC duplex connectors. To maximize packing densitythe structure of the Polaris 36 housing is divided into two parts: On the left side are 24 FMTS trays for 12 splice connections each. Thusup to 288 splice connections can be connected here at full capacity - a fantastic value for a housing of this size. On the right side of the Polaris 36 enclosure is the coupling field for up to 36 SC E-2000 and LC Duplex connectors. To provide access points for this number of cablessix additional access bays can be broken out on the bottom of the Polaris 36 enclosure. These allow modular and customized assembly of the distribution housing and create space for up to twelve cables or tubes of up to 16mmdiameter or 144 subscriber and drop cables.
